Job Title: Painter and Decorator Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Trident Painting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our experienced painters and decorators in various tasks related to painting and decorating, including loading and unloading materials, mixing and applying paints and coatings, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Performing routine maintenance work, including removing rubble and debris
  • Smoothing rough edges using belt sanders or smoothing wheels
  • Sanding, trimming, grinding, or cleaning products into final form using hand tools
  • Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted
  • Cleaning the work area
  • Applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to work under pressure. The job will involve working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces, and may involve working in noisy and dusty conditions.
