Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Trident Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced painters and decorators with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, mixing and applying paints and coatings, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist painters and decorators with tasks such as loading and unloading materials, mixing and applying paints and coatings, and performing routine maintenance work.
  • Work under the supervision of experienced painters and decorators to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Operate power tools and equipment, such as belt sanders and smoothing wheels, to smooth rough edges and prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining work areas, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of waste materials.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as construction or maintenance, is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
