Job Title: Territory Manager

Brandt Agricultural Products Ltd. is seeking a Territory Manager to join our team in the Alberta area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling our complete line of agricultural products through a dealer distribution network. This will involve implementing marketing strategies, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our dealers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market and sell budgeted annual product volumes through the Brandt Agricultural distribution network in the territory.
  • Effectively implement Brandt Ag Division programs and policy in the territory.
  • Manage territory expense budget to meet budget goals.
  • Initiate, expand, and maintain dealer representation and effectiveness for Brandt products in the territory.
  • Continually seek, organize, and report market intelligence information and knowledge about the territory to assist in the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies and management policies.
  • Travel extensively in the territory to contact dealers, resolve product inquiries, manage inventories, implement marketing programs, attend sales meetings and trade shows, and generally market and service Brandt products in the territory.
Requirements:
  • Must have working knowledge of agricultural machinery products or a similar industry.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of AB Ag Dealers would also be an asset.
  • Capable of basic computer skills, Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, etc.
  • Aggressive team player, people person, self-starter, and motivated towards goals.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
  • A recent driver's abstract will be required.
Education and Experience:

3 to 5 years of relevant AG sales experience. Post-secondary education in Sales and Marketing or a similar discipline would be considered an asset but not required.
