Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at BBC Immigration Services Inc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Direct and control daily operations, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer electronic enquiries, responding to emails and other digital communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload. They will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and demonstrate adaptability and reliability in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Permanent employment with a 35 to 40 hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
