Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a Primary Care Mental Health Specialist, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support. Key Responsibilities

Provide assessment, treatment, and support to patients with mental health and addiction issues
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on mental health and addiction issues, as well as available resources and support services
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral or Social Science field
2 years of experience in a health setting working with complex care clients
Current valid BC driver's license
Strong assessment and treatment skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills
