Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families affected by mental health and addiction issues.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with complex mental health and addiction issues, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with mental health and addiction issues
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Develop and implement education and support programs for patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioral or Social Science field
  • 2 years of recent experience in a health setting working with complex care clients with mental health and/or addiction issues
  • Current valid BC driver's license
