Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team as a Business Partner. This role will provide analysis for decision-making and work closely with both finance and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze results and variances, identifying trends and recommending actions
  • Compare monthly budgets and forecasts with actual results
  • Monitor and update standard costs, analyze PPV, reconcile inventory (book to perpetual)
  • Oversee project finances in tooling and capital projects, with PM to ensure projects remain within budget and report to corporate monthly on status
  • Audit & review monthly financial information to ensure reasonability
  • Review and summarize capital requests, including assessing the overall business case of capital purchases
  • Analyze opportunities and build models to support business decisions
  • Plan, coordinate and execute various ad hoc queries and reports used by all management levels in development of key strategy and operational decision making
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or economics
  • CPA designation would be considered an asset but not required
  • Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral
  • Highly competent in the use of the MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)
  • VBA programming is an asset
  • Self-confidence, critical thinking, ability to influence, ability to work independently and willingness to work extended hours (if necessary)
  • High level of time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a good knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949
Work Environment

95% Office Environment, 5% Plant Floor (PPE required)
