We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Martinrea International Inc. as a Business Partner to both the finance and operational teams. This role will provide analysis for decision-making, ensuring the company's financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial results and variances, identifying trends and recommending actions.
- Compare monthly budgets and forecasts with actual results.
- Monitor and update standard costs, analyze PPV, and reconcile inventory.
- Oversee project finances in tooling and capital projects, ensuring projects remain within budget and reporting to corporate monthly on status.
- Audit and review monthly financial information to ensure reasonability.
- Review and summarize capital requests, including assessing the overall business case of capital purchases.
- Analyze opportunities and build models to support business decisions.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute various ad hoc queries and reports used by all management levels in the development of key strategy and operational decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or economics.
- CPA designation considered an asset but not required.
- Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral.
- Highly competent in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio).
- VBA programming is an asset.
- Self-confidence, critical thinking, ability to influence, ability to work independently, and willingness to work extended hours (if necessary).
- High level of time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
95% Office Environment, 5% Plant Floor (PPE required).
