Job Summary
We're seeking a Seasonal Customer Experience Representative to join our team at Indigo. As a key member of our sales floor team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a visually appealing store environment, and supporting the daily operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including new releases and promotions
- Conduct inventory cycle counts, replenish stock, and manage product returns
- Use merchandising standards to create a visually appealing and stimulating store environment
- Align with Store leadership on goals and objectives for the fiscal year
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
- Add joy to our customers' lives by leveraging our products to tell stories and connect with our brand
- Engage and connect with customers on the sales floor, curating specific product collections for each customer
- Role model Indigo's High-Performance Characteristics, including adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
- Seek information regarding new products, promotions, and programs to stay up-to-date on store offerings
- Contribute to an environment where everyone knows their health and safety is a top priority
- Take accountability for responding to customer feedback in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment preferred but not required
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store
- Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights, and early mornings
- Available to support the daily operations of the store, before or after the store closes (5am start time) as needed
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Québec; other languages an asset
