Job Summary

This role is responsible for the supervision of Slots or Tables, depending on daily work assignment. The Supervisor will ensure internal controls, government regulations, and department policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor games, player tracking, and reports large buy-ins/cash-outs, table swings, and suspicious play or behavior.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for tables.
  • Ensure the integrity of the gaming floor by adhering to government regulations, internal controls, and department policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for various department and company development/initiative projects, including promotional ideas and increasing headcount.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Resolve customer disputes, provide comps if necessary, and report irregularities, disputes, and suspicious activities.
  • Verify jackpots and provide payment, complete regulatory paperwork, and track players.
  • Responsible for securing assets during emergencies, such as fire alarms or power failures.
  • Participate in team member training and maintain effective communication with staff regarding policy changes.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to dealers/slot attendants through daily coaching and feedback.
  • Supervise the Promotions booth and provide quality service to guests.
  • Issue rewards based on programs and maintain the Player's Club Database.
  • Execute all promotional activities and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Complete sales for tournaments and special events through Micro's.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with stakeholders, including guests, ownership, team members, vendors, and regulators.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Manage other initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in guest service, with a minimum of 6 months in a Dual Rate Dealer Supervisor role.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Extensive knowledge of table games and slot operations, including rules and procedures.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Computer knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation with the ability to work flexible hours when required.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position.
