Job Summary

The Site Auditor-TIC Manager is responsible for supervising the work of the Audit team, reviewing and balancing gaming revenues and volumes. This role ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example, and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates an engaged work environment by promoting positivity, recognizing excellent peer performance, and supporting colleagues.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and mentoring to the Audit team, coaching for success to achieve high performance.
  • Assists in implementing departmental strategic plans.
  • Responds to, resolves, or escalates Audit issues.
  • Reviews, enters, and balances daily gaming revenues.
  • May assist with payroll and scheduling reconciliation.
  • Distributes revenue reports to management and regulatory bodies.
  • Reviews cage closeouts (Some locations).
  • Communicates effectively with operational departments.
  • Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Complies with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with stakeholders: guests, ownership, regulatory bodies, and team members.
  • Coaches a team of engaged team members who care passionately about the business, site operations, and delivering a great guest experience.
  • Stewards workplace health, safety, and wellness with a focus on team member education and training, workplace inspections, and accident prevention.
  • Anticipates operational and service issues before they escalate, trouble-shoots, and resolves guest concerns before they become complaints.
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

Education and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administration; minimum 1 year in casino operations an asset.
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position.
