Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Private Equity Director to join our team. This role will involve leading underwriting, monitoring, and management of private equity funds and co-investments. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in private equity, including sourcing, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of funds and co-investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Private Equity fund underwritings directly, with responsibility for several key GP/sponsor relationships.
  • Participate in portfolio management and recommend strategies to enhance portfolio construction.
  • Lead in-depth market research and due diligence, including critical review, stress testing, and commenting on third-party private market strategies.
  • Lead on management and enhancement of relationships with key stakeholders, investment partners, advisors, and portfolio management teams.
  • Proactively participate in operational aspects of Private Capital, suggesting and implementing efficiencies or changes in process, procedures, or structure.
  • Assist the broader Private Capital team with developing fund monitoring reports and critically assessing documentation and other communications.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience of private equity funds, including sourcing, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of funds and co-investments; or experience in private equity secondary investing.
  • Extensive knowledge of and relationships in the private equity community.
  • A thorough understanding of partnership agreements.
  • Highly competent at prioritization and management of multiple workstreams to deliver high-quality work under constrained timelines.
  • Excellent ability to influence and negotiate to fulfill investment objectives.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $250,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
