About the Role

Cemrock Concrete & Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets our quality standards.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to support the structure.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to ensure durability and longevity.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high standards.
Requirements
  • Physically demanding role requiring stamina and endurance.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment are required.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Dental plan, disability benefits, and health care plan are offered.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
