Position Overview

A PLUS CONCRETE PUMPING LTD is seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks essential for achieving high-quality concrete surfaces.

Education Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

The work environment can be characterized as:

  • Dusty
  • Noisy
  • Outdoor settings
  • Wet or damp conditions
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Filling hollows and eliminating imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Leveling the top surface of concrete in accordance with specified grades and depths.
  • Applying the desired finish to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and various fixtures.
  • Applying hardening and sealing agents to cure concrete surfaces effectively.
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
Physical Demands

This position is physically demanding and requires a strong work ethic.

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Between 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in concrete finishing.
Employment Details

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
