About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in preventative maintenance planning and execution. You will be responsible for analyzing equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing maintenance plans to achieve optimal reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment reliability
  • Analyze equipment performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to achieve optimal reliability
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure effective maintenance execution
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in preventative maintenance planning and execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of RCM and TPM methodologies
