The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. as a Specialist, Asset Reliability Planning. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive maintenance program based on sound reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies. The successful candidate will facilitate communication between operations, production planning, and reliability teams, ensuring equipment is maintained with minimal production interruption.

As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in preserving the integrity of our CMMS system, troubleshooting system issues, and minimizing emergency breakdown work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a proactive maintenance program based on RCM strategies
  • Facilitate communication between operations, production planning, and reliability teams
  • Ensure equipment is maintained with minimal production interruption
  • Preserve the integrity of the CMMS system
  • Troubleshoot system issues and minimize emergency breakdown work
Requirements:
  • Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering degree or 5 years of related maintenance trade work experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in preventative maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of RCM, TPM, and SAP
  • Strong MS Office computer skills
