Job Title: Reliability Engineer

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Reliability Planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with operations, production planning, and reliability teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Use SAP system to schedule maintenance activities and track equipment performance
  • Analyze reports and troubleshoot areas of downtime concerns to minimize machine downtime and maximize equipment uptime
  • Work with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities to meet reliability KPI targets
  • Develop SOPs, workflows, and Key Performance Indicators as required
  • Prepare reports and results from SAP to support business requests
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • SAP knowledge and experience with SAP system
  • Strong MS Office computer skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
