Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Reliability Planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
- Collaborate with operations, production planning, and reliability teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Use SAP system to schedule maintenance activities and track equipment performance
- Analyze reports and troubleshoot areas of downtime concerns to minimize machine downtime and maximize equipment uptime
- Work with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities to meet reliability KPI targets
- Develop SOPs, workflows, and Key Performance Indicators as required
- Prepare reports and results from SAP to support business requests
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- SAP knowledge and experience with SAP system
- Strong MS Office computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
