Job Title: Part Time Support

At Karis Disability Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives in their communities.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires a strong commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Transitional Support Professional, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide personalized support and care to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household management
  • Supporting individuals to develop life skills and independence
  • Collaborating with our clinical team to provide reports on clinical interventions
  • Liaising with clinical professionals to ensure seamless care and support

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Minimum 1 year working in Developmental Services
  • Developmental Service Worker or apprenticeship actively in process, Child and Youth Care Diploma or apprenticeship actively in process, or Diploma or Degree in a Related Human Services Field
