Job Title: Part Time Support

At Karis Disability Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives in their communities.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position that requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our clinical professionals to provide personalized support and care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Supporting individuals to develop and maintain life skills, such as communication, socialization, and independence.
  • Collaborating with clinical professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals and their families.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in developmental services.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • A strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care and the ability to work in a team environment.
