At Karis Disability Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives in their communities.
About the Role:This is a part-time position that requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our clinical professionals to provide personalized support and care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Supporting individuals to develop and maintain life skills, such as communication, socialization, and independence.
- Collaborating with clinical professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in developmental services.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- A strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care and the ability to work in a team environment.
