Healthcare Recruiter



Drake Medox Health Services is seeking a skilled Healthcare Recruiter to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality recruitment services to ensure the company has sufficient staff to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring each candidate receives professional, timely, and quality service.
  • Preparing effective advertisements and screening candidates through proper assessment processes.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates through diverse sources, including internal databases, e-boards, networking, social media, referrals, and direct recruitment tactics.
  • Thoroughly interviewing candidates to ensure they meet client requirements.
  • Effective reference checking to ensure candidate suitability.
  • Administering CPR, NVCI/CPI, wound care courses, and safe patient handling course documentation.
  • Presenting fully qualified candidates to the Drake Medox Scheduling and management team.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate files, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Providing truthful and non-discriminatory responses to candidate inquiries, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.

Requirements:
  • HCA Certificate from WRHA-approved colleges or equivalent.
  • Recent work experience in home care or facility work.
  • Demonstrated understanding of RN home care and facility care and HCA home care and facility care.
  • Exceptional ability to foster long-term candidate relationships.
  • Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented approach with a proven record of achieving service expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Project management experience with a solutions-focused track record.
  • Ability to plan and organize in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and tracking software.
