Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Professional Recruiter to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the delivery of safe and quality healthcare services.

As a Professional Recruiter, you will work closely with hiring managers and partners in Manitoba's health regions to support recruitment functions. Your expertise in candidate sourcing and recruiting will help us build strong recruitment strategies to attract a skilled and diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Form relationships with healthcare leaders and management teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of hiring needs
  • Implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on role, industry standards, and needs of Manitoba healthcare
  • Develop recruitment plans by leveraging external communication channels, professional networks, social media, and candidate mining
  • Build and foster high-touch relationships with internal and external candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Partner with the recruiting team and leaders to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies
  • Identify new and innovative sourcing strategies to build a talent pool/network of key positions through anticipatory sourcing and selection
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment activities, including intake, sourcing, outreach, prescreening, interview booking, and final offer negotiation
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience in recruitment or human resources
  • Previous experience with applicant tracking systems
  • Experience developing a recruiting strategy
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
Skills
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with job boards, HR software, databases, and management systems
  • Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities
