About the Role

Reporting to the HR and LR Manager, the HR Generalist will be responsible for both general Human Resources and Labour Relations functions, including but not limited to:

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Disability Management: Develop and implement strategies to support employees with disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conducting Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into workplace incidents, allegations, and complaints.
  • ADP Administration: Manage and maintain accurate records of employee data, benefits, and payroll information.
  • General Day-to-Day HR Functions: Provide administrative support to the HR and LR Manager, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, and employee communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the achievement of Team Group's goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to, employee relations, benefits, and payroll.
  • Collaborate with the HR and LR Manager to develop and implement Labour Relations strategies to maintain positive employee relations and minimize the risk of labour disputes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to, employment standards, health and safety, and human rights.
