Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric ICU team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and lead the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Minimum of two years recent acute nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care.
- Successful completion of a post-basic ICU course is preferred.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and active participation in professional associations.
- CPR Training at the Health Care Provider Level.
- Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses.
- Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
- Nursing care knowledge related to clinical area.
- Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), Protection of Persons in Care Act, Mental Health Act, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions) and other legislated acts.
