Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

Disera Medical is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to identify health issues and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, including chronic diseases and injuries.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote healthy habits, prevent illnesses, and improve overall well-being.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most effective course of treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, vaccinations, and other treatments as needed.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and interests, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province or territory where the job is located.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
