Commercial Laundry Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our market share and driving increased revenue through identifying and securing new opportunities in the eastern Vancouver/BC Area.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of building a territory, with a hunter mentality and the ability to find new business opportunities. You will thrive in this role if you are a seasoned sales professional with excellent time management skills, a "yes" approach to customer service, and a high level of professional and presentation/sales standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers to achieve assigned sales growth quotas and targets
  • Prospect for potential new customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Manage territory & time effectively as well as strive to exceed personal goals
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
  • Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
  • Daily tracking of all sales activity through CRM
  • Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes
  • Attend team meetings for continued training and development of business skills
  • Work effectively with other members of the team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Basic understanding of laundry room operations, laundry systems, technologies, and utility expenses (water, hydro, natural gas)
  • Closing Skills are an asset
  • Adapt to different business environments and settings
  • Solid track record in developing growth with new accounts
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Be Resourceful and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Experience with equipment financing would be an asset but not required
