Job Title: Truck Driver - Goods Transportation

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at GOOD GRACE TRANSPORT INC. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods from trucks
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Bill of lading knowledge
  • Driver logbook knowledge
  • Inspection report knowledge

Work Environment: The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
