Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Douglas Lake Equipment Limited Partnership. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment
    • Diagnose faults and malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
    • Order parts and maintain inventory
    • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Perform Routine Maintenance
    • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
    • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Supervise and Train
    • Instruct apprentices
    • Supervise heavy duty equipment mechanics
  • Specialize in Diesel Engine Repair
    • Fuel injection system
    • Exhaust system
    • Cooling system
    • Air conditioning system
    • Lubrication system
