Human Resources/Talent Acquisition COOP

Phasor Engineering Inc. is a dynamic Alberta-based company specializing in engineering, design, and testing/commissioning of medium to high voltage electrical facilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated Human Resources/Talent Acquisition COOP to join our team on a full-time 12 or 8 month contract in our Calgary office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and ensure completeness of employee documents in both digital and hardcopy formats.
  • Enter new employee information into employee folders, including creation of new employee folders and records as needed.
  • Arrange employee file contents by date.
  • Respond to HR-related questions and provide basic HR advice to management.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, including responding to job applications and participating in job fairs.
  • Support the implementation of corporate HR programs and policies based on industry best practices and legislation.
Requirements:
  • Third or fourth year student registered with a College or University in Canada.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite and strong computer skills.
  • Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
