Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Calibre Consulting Corp is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, assigning projects to subordinates, and coordinating the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations to drive business results.
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to support business growth.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a diverse workforce.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure fairness and equity.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to support employee well-being.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to drive performance and growth.
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
