Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations to ensure effective management of HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to ensure compliance and understanding.
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure accurate and fair compensation.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to ensure effective employee development and growth.
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective management of HR initiatives.
