About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train and develop kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and other relevant skills.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records and reports of kitchen operations, including inventory, sales, and waste management.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for kitchen staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.

Work Setting

Restaurant environment.

Physical Demands

Standing for extended periods, physically demanding work.
