About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Cook at strEATS Willoughby Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving food to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
