Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Bilingual Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Effectively and efficiently handling audit tasks independently or within a team environment
  • Preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries
  • Performing audits on a variety of organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and responding to their requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicating effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English (written and oral)

Your Experience and Education

We require a candidate who has completed their CPA designation or is in the process of completion. You should have 2-3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry, and enjoy working in the private enterprise, non-profit, and public sectors. You should value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work, and display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in both French and English.
