About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analytics solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop predictive models to forecast business outcomes and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform data analytics strategy
  • Lead and mentor junior data scientists to develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in developing AI/ML solutions in a business context
  • Experience deploying big data analytics in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience supporting enterprise-grade, fully productionized MLOps pipelines
  • Experience with time-series data, particularly telemetry (sensor-based) data
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and aircraft systems (asset)
  • Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem of machine learning libraries
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
