Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Plan and execute menu items, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our menu requirements.
- Monitor and control food costs to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure. They will also be required to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
