Join Highline Beta as a Head of Venture Building

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our venture building initiatives with corporate partners. As Head of Venture Building, you'll play a strategic and execution-level role, working closely with our founders and corporate partners to design, build, launch, and run new ventures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead venture building initiatives with corporate partners, including ideation, validation, and launch
  • Coach client innovation/venture studio teams through the process of creating new ventures, providing training and support as needed
  • Understand the challenges faced by corporate innovators and design proposals and sales materials for how we can help
  • Support business development activities, including attending conferences, speaking at events, hosting webinars, and showcasing expertise in growth innovation and corporate venture building
  • Identify opportunities to build ventures given corporate clients' business objectives through ideation and validation processes
  • Use Lean Startup methodologies and Design Thinking to break down opportunities into small, testable pieces, designing a rigorous testing system
  • Create business plans and models for new ventures, products, and services, taking into account desirability, viability, and feasibility considerations
  • Coach corporate teams who are in charge of validating new venture concepts, providing tools and tips based on firsthand experience
  • Get into the trenches with corporate teams, supporting on product, design, or development strategy, and knowing who to ask in the organization to fill in for these skills
