Lead Venture Building Initiatives

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead venture building initiatives with our corporate partners. As Head of Venture Building, you'll play a strategic and execution-level role, working closely with our founders and corporate executives to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach client innovation teams through the process of creating new ventures, providing training and support as needed
  • Design proposals and sales materials to help corporate innovators overcome challenges and achieve their business objectives
  • Support business development activities, including attending conferences, speaking at events, and hosting webinars to showcase expertise in growth innovation and corporate venture building
  • Identify opportunities to build ventures aligned with corporate clients' business objectives, using ideation and validation processes
  • Develop business plans and models for new ventures, products, and services, considering desirability, viability, and feasibility
  • Lead corporate teams in validating new venture concepts, providing tools and tips based on first-hand experience
Requirements:
  • Experience consulting corporate partners on how to design, build, launch, and run a venture studio
  • Experience applying Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies to products and services
  • Experience launching and building new businesses
  • Technical or design skills considered a plus
  • Value equity upside in a portfolio of venture-backed startups
  • Remote work flexibility (2 days/week in the office)
  • No travel required for corporate executive meetings
