Nova Inn Wabasca is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of our facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that our staff are performing to the best of their ability.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that our staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that our linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that our facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that our facilities meet all necessary standards.
  • Hire and dismiss staff as necessary to ensure that our housekeeping department is well-staffed and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift heavy objects.
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment

Nova Inn Wabasca is a non-smoking facility, and our housekeeping staff are expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
