Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Nova Inn Wabasca. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of our rooms and public areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that high standards of cleanliness and quality are maintained.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties to a high standard.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that our staff are performing to the best of their ability.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that our staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that our linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that our rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that our facilities are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Hire and dismiss staff as necessary to ensure that our housekeeping department is well-staffed and able to meet the needs of our guests.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Reliability and dependability.
  • Client focus and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
