About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team at South Granville Business College. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies to support business growth and development
  • Supervise a team of professional and support staff, as well as students, to ensure effective program administration
  • Administer programs to promote business investment and development, including venture capital sourcing and development
  • Perform administrative tasks, including planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and trends
  • Develop and implement business plans, including marketing strategies and feasibility studies
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations on business development and growth
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on consumer buying habits and preferences
  • Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage business investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts on business development and growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload
