Laboratory Analyst

Bureau Veritas Switzerland AG is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Bureau Veritas's Code of Ethics Policy and support the implementation of quality management systems.
- Perform basic testing procedures, sample preparation, and data entry into laboratory information management systems.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Record results in logbooks and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize daily workload and meet client requirements.
- Identify and communicate non-conformances to supervisors and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with analysis procedures and problem-solve issues that may arise.
- Participate in departmental and health and safety meetings, and contribute to the development of training programs for junior staff.
- Post-secondary school education and equivalent experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated success in a laboratory technician role, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality management systems.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of laboratory information management systems and quality management principles.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
