The Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in sales and marketing to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand growth and fostering strategic partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless operational execution and effective strategy implementation
  • Analyzing data to provide actionable insights and inform business decisions
  • Developing and executing content strategies to build the PORTA brand, community, and velocity goals

You will be working closely with key accounts, managing new item sell-in, ongoing execution, monitoring performance, and creating profitable growth opportunities for both PORTA and our customers. Additionally, you will support senior sales teams in day-to-day operations, trade and promotional planning, and forecasting.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional time management and organizational skills. You must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and storytelling abilities, as well as impactful verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential. Knowledge of Nielsen and POS data systems is an asset.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A University Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business or a related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in CPG sales or retail, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, revenue reporting, and customer relationship management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to summarize complex data into clear recommendations
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
