About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician in Oncology to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a key member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive cancer care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in cancer care and incorporate this knowledge into your practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia.
  • Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment.
  • Suitability for appointment to the University of British Columbia.
