Job Type: Regular, Part-time/Full-Time (up to FTE)

About the Role

We are seeking a General Practitioner in Oncology to join our well-established team at the Centre for the Southern Interior (CSI) in Kelowna. As a General Practitioner in Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our cancer care services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with our medical oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment options
  • Contribute to the development of our cancer care services, including quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia
  • Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment
  • Suitability for appointment to the University of British Columbia
