Job Title: General Practitioner in Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner in Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our medical oncology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and contributing to the development of cancer treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of cancer treatment protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of cancer care policies

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia
  • Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP) at the time of appointment
  • Suitability for appointment to the University of British Columbia
