About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Leader to oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of our Law Clerks, Legal Assistants, and Administrative Support members. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish clear performance objectives for your team and measure progress towards achieving these goals.
  • Ensure high levels of employee engagement by monitoring overall engagement and creating action plans to improve it.
  • Assess team strengths and areas for improvement, making recommendations for growth and development.
  • Provide regular feedback, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
  • Identify key talent and provide opportunities for growth and development.
  • Lead recruitment processes, including interviewing and selecting new employees.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and communication to ensure two-way information flow.
  • Assist team members in understanding and applying policies, procedures, and theories.
  • Drive change and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Plan and implement office systems and operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline (legal, paralegal, or management) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five to eight years of experience in a litigation environment or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum two years of management experience or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills to develop and foster relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, I-Manager, and e-discovery tools.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, leading, and executing projects.
  • Experience implementing and driving change.
  • Leadership experience, including establishing performance objectives, providing feedback, and maintaining employee engagement.
