About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Freddies Pizza & Donair Elmwood. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu items and specials, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of safety and quality, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers receive a warm and welcoming experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Overtime required, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, Dependability, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Team player
