Job Summary

Lais Hotel Properties Limited is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in network administration and support.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
