About the RoleWe are looking for a highly qualified and experienced clinician to provide comprehensive assessments, treatment, and support services to individuals experiencing concurrent substance use and mental health disorders. As a Concurrent Disorders Clinician, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and promote recovery-oriented care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent substance use and mental health screening, comprehensive assessments, and clinical impressions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including individual and group therapy, couples and family therapy, and education.
- Establish and maintain non-judgmental therapeutic relationships with clients, collaborate with colleagues and community resources, and participate in program-sponsored research.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement activities.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in a Behavioural Health Discipline from a recognized program, along with three years of recent experience providing professional services to individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. You should also have valid BC Driver's License as required, and basic computer literacy to operate an electronic client care information system.
